What To Do When You Hear a Home Security Alarm in Indiana?

Home security in Indiana is no different than anywhere else in the country and when an alarm goes off, it’s important that we do the following:

• Look outside the door or window and locate the home where the alarm is going off.
• Checking for your own safety first, step outside and look up and down the street, focusing particularly in the area where the alarm is coming from.
• If it is during daylight hours and you notice more people or passing traffic on the street, you may even go toward the house where the sound is coming from to check what’s going on.
